This is hypothetical.
Suppose the primary Xfinity account holder dies. I believe a secondary
account can assume primary ownership of the account for billing and
other purposes. Xfinity describes a method for doing this:

But my question is, will the original primary account owner's email
account be maintained? HYPOTHETICALLY, there may be important
correspondence coming in to that address for a long time afterward, and
that could be a real problem if that address disappeared.
